FUTURE LIFE LAB
Optional physiologic insight for psychiatric care
Future Life Lab is the wellness diagnostics division of Future Psychiatry. It offers optional saliva based panels that can add context about stress, sleep, and hormonal patterns when that information is likely to refine your treatment.
Panels are not used on their own for diagnosis. They are available only to established Future Psychiatry clients and are always interpreted within the frame of your psychiatric evaluation and follow up visits.
Core Resilience Panel
A one time saliva based panel that provides a snapshot of how your body manages stress, recovery, and daily energy.
It may include markers such as:
- Cortisol across the day
- DHEA S
- Estradiol
- Progesterone
- Testosterone
Additional markers, including melatonin, secretory IgA, and selected methylation related measures, are planned for future availability.
For some clients working with insomnia, chronic stress, or mood changes, this added layer of information can help fine tune the plan.
How it is used
If a panel is appropriate and you choose to proceed, you can expect:
- Simple guidance for saliva collection at home
- Processing through CLIA certified and New York State permitted partner laboratories
- A clear explanation of results in session
- Adjustments to your existing plan when the data genuinely support a change
Repeat testing is optional and used only when it is likely to show whether a specific intervention is having the intended effect.
Access
Future Life Lab panels are offered only after an initial psychiatric evaluation at Future Psychiatry and only when there is a clear clinical reason to consider testing.
They are for wellness and educational insight and remain secondary to the core of your care, which is a careful clinical assessment, thoughtful medication decisions when they are useful, and structured follow up.
